Art For The Masses

We've started doing some watercolor lessons from Hearts and Trees and we are having a blast. I got everyone their own set of paints, brushes and watercolor paper and it is a calming yet focused way for all of us to spend about 45 minutes. Oldest son is trying to ignore the classical music by iPoding himself, but yesterday was better. I'm doing it with them and while it is crowded at the table, it was still great fun.

How fantastic! It would be so great if more moms were like you and realized the importance of family activities together.... no I guess that is not enought...It would be so great if more moms went to the effort to create activities that the family could do together. I know that it is a lot of work on your part but the rewards will be worth all of your efforts. Good for you!
How wonderful! It's great to see your children all sitting at one table, participating in an activity...even with an iPod!
